The leading car manufacturer Hyundai Motor has introduced a new entry-level Aura CNG E variant in India. The all-new Aura Hy-CNG E variant is being offered at an ex-showroom price of INR 7.49 lakh. The Hyundai Aura sedan is now available in three variants: SX, E, and S.

The Aura Hy-CNG E trim is the third model to come equipped with dual-cylinder technology after the Grand i10 Nios and Exter. As of now, Hyundai has sold more than 2 lakh units of the Aura sedan in the Indian market. In its segment, the Aura Hy-CNG trim rivals the Tata Tigor CNG and Maruti Suzuki Dzire CNG. 

Hyundai Aura CNG E Variant Features

The Hyundai Aura CNG E variant is loaded with amenities like power windows, an 8.89 cm (3.5") speedometer, adjustable rear seat headrests, a height-adjustable driver seat, Z-shaped LED tail lights, and a 3.5-inch MID.

On the safety front, the Aura CNG sedan is packed with three-point seat belts for all seats, six airbags, an emergency stop signal, a speed alert system, an immobilizer, rear parking sensors, a seat belt reminder system, a speed alert system, and ABS with EBD.

Hyundai Aura CNG E Variant Engine 

Under the bonnet, the new entry-level E variant draws power from a 1.2L Bi-Fuel petrol with CNG engine that is mated with a 5-speed manual transmission. The petrol unit can generate a maximum power of 82 bhp and peak torque of 114 Nm. On the contrary, in CNG mode, the unit churns out 68 bhp of power and 95 Nm of torque. The Hyundai Aura CNG E mileage is 28.4 km/kg.
